Meet the Counselors

Ebonie Butler-Cheeks

She is originally from Hattiesburg, MS, but considers herself a native of Jackson since having lived here about 20 years.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and anything that involves the outdoors.

Mrs. Jenkins is looking forward to working with the Forest Hill family.

Monica Dickerson

Monica Dickerson is the current 12th grade school counselor at Forest Hill High school.  She is originally from Tampa, FL and graduated from Mississippi State University with a Master’s degree in School Counseling.

Being a school counselor is more than a career, it's her passion.  "There is no greater feeling than helping a scholar achieve their goals, seeing them become successful, and knowing I was a part of that."

She is always grateful to serve the scholars and families of this community.
