Dr. Erica Bradley
Dr. Erica Gee Bradley, a native of southern California and honors graduate of
Tougaloo College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education.
Dr. Gee Bradley’s Creole family roots in New Orleans, LA have helped to mold
her personal characteristics to be bold, confident, and resilient.
Dr. Gee Bradley has over 32 years of experience working in the Jackson Public
School District. She has served generations of scholars and parents in the
capacity of classroom teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal. After 13
years of dedicated leadership as principal of Galloway Elementary School, she
proudly accepted the invitation to leap to secondary leadership at the high
school level. Dr. Gee Bradley has served as administrator of Jim Hill High School,
Provine High School, and Wingfield High School where she recognized her
assignment as a “change agent” to ensure that high expectations were the foundation and building leadership capacity at every level was her charge. Therefore, Dr. Bradley accepted the invitation to join the Forest Hill High School “University of South Jackson” family in 2024.
Dr. Gee Bradley holds a Master of Science degree in Education Administration and Supervision from Jackson State University. She received her Doctor of Philosophy in Education Administration and Supervision from Jackson State University where she completed her course of study with a 3.9 G.P.A. and was inducted for distinction into the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. Dr. Gee Bradley is also a graduating fellow from the number one ranking school of education in the nation, Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to being a 2014 graduate of the
Mississippi School Board’s Association of Prospective Superintendents’ Academy, she was a finalist for the 2016 JPS Administrator of the Year.
On January 24, 2020, Dr. Gee Bradley received one of the highest honors when she was recognized and documented on the United States Congress floor by House of Representatives Honorable Bennie G. Thompson for being an honorable member of our society through her years of dedicated service in education.
Dr. Gee Bradley is the extremely proud mother of a 23-year-old recent graduate from Mississippi State University. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated and faithfully demonstrates loyalty and enthusiasm about increasing student achievement and building capacity through teacher development and support. Dr. Gee Bradley believes that it takes a village to raise a child, but the village
must stand together and remain committed, focused, and resilient, especially in areas where they may be uncomfortable.
Dr. Gee Bradley’s daily commitment as a teacher, instructional leader, administrator, and servant is driven by a passion simply to serve others. Therefore, she is motivated to continuously press toward the mark of the higher calling, through Christ Jesus and know that when she is weak, then she is also strong as she remains obedient to God’s directions in positioning her as an instrument for greater.
