Dear Forest Hill High School Family,
It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new Administrative Intern at Forest Hill High
School for the 2025–2026 school year. My name is Andrew Garner, and I am honored to serve this dynamic learning

community as part of the Principal Corps program through the University of Mississippi.

I come to Forest Hill with a strong background in mathematics education and leadership, having spent the last several years teaching Algebra I and serving as a head baseball coach and youth leader in Jackson Public Schools. I am passionate about scholar success, teacher empowerment, and creating a school culture grounded in excellence, equity, and authentic relationships.
Throughout this internship, I look forward to collaborating with our outstanding staff, engaged families, and dedicated community partners to support our students’ academic growth and personal development. Under the leadership of Principal Hampton and the guidance of the Principal Corps, I am committed to learning, leading, and contributing in every way I can to help Forest Hill thrive.
