JROTC PROGRAM

Forest Hill JROTC program was established in 1978 and is the 5th school in the JPS District to have established a leadership, mentoring and professional academic program. JROTC objectives are to develop students/cadets to become lifelong learners, community-minded citizens, patriotic self-discipline individuals and self-motivated positive contributors to society.

ACCREDITATION

View the program consolidated accreditation document, JROTC earned 368 of a possible 400 on CIEQ. Cognia, is an accrediting agency that provides accreditation and certification across the nation: more than 36,000 schools and systems in 85 countries that are committed to continuous improvement through accreditation. This grading scale is used to quantify how well an institution adheres to national education standards in teaching and learning.
